As a part of Palm Plaza Pet
Hospital's commitment to compassionate animal care, we are working
in conjunction with the Tehachapy Wildlife and Education Center to
provide care and rehabilitation for our local wildlife. Palm
Plaza has dedicated a specific area of our pet hospital which
includes special equipment and facilities to care for wildlife which
is completely separated from our small animal and pet care
facilities.
Seen here, is one of the bobcat kittens found
in a local adult school is seen here getting a preliminary physical
exam by Dr. Rosenaur before being reunited with the rest of his
family.
It's important
to remember that that it is illegal to keep or attempt to
rehabilitate wildlife without special federal and state permits.
At Palm Plaza Pet Hospital we have trained professionals who are
qualified experts in wildlife rehabilitation.
We
are in desperate need of financial donations for care and medication
to support our wildlife rehabilitation program. We are also in need
of equipment donations as well, so please contact us at
(661) 272-4551 to help.
